Dear Friend of IBSF –
Thank you for your generous donation to our project, "Feed a Hot Lunch to 320 Hungry Children in Nigeria." Because of you, we will be able to support a daily hot lunch program at both the Light School at Ishahayi and the Ife Oluwa School in Lekki during the 2014-2015 school year.
Your donations will allow us to deliver food staples like rice, beans, yams and vegetables to the schools each month. By providing nutritious ingredients for cooking, the schools' hot lunch program will model healthy behavior for the surrounding community. Plus, a hot and nutritionally balanced meal helps the students learn to the best of their ability!
During this school year, IBSF rebuilt and refurbished the kitchen facilities at each school. We’ve purchased or delivered donated utensils, pots, pans and food storage containers. Your donations ensure that when school begins again in September, no student will go hungry. By enhancing a subsistence-level diet with a hot, healthy school lunch, we hope to see all 320 students reach their full potential.
Sincerely,
Kristiann Gips
