This project is going on with the local funds being raised by individual groups at their own level. Some of the groups have been able to create contacts from where they can get Palm oil on Credit and pay after sales.
We have continued to supervised the groups that have either raised some capital for this purpose or Trade credit and are still encouraging others to continue saving weekly so that they can be able to buy one or two tines to be selling among themselves while waiting for the Central Fund raising which is this project ware soliciting funds for.
We have continued to rekindle their spirit of working together and gaining experience in the Palm oil business while waiting if there would be any support for this project.
Unfortunately we have not recorded any donations for this project but we still have the courage and hope that we will have supporters for the project.
Our most recent volunteer Julie Diamond was so tourched as almost all the groups mentioned about the need for palm oild and cried aloud because the prices skyrocket again.
How ever, we had not had the latest pictures of the women sharing the oil but before our next report, we will have the latest pictures of the women sharing the quantity that they can afford at this point in time.
