You are all amazing people and your thoughtfulness, generosity, and care mean so much to us.
Thank you, everyone, for your love and concern. We request more of your support toward feeding and the educational training of our children.
Thank you VERY MUCH for your generous donation of rice, beans, gari, clothes and money to Displaced Children Foundation! Donors like you help keep alive our mission to feed our boys and girls, vulnerable children from the Agatu and Tiv tribes, orphaned and displaced by Fulani herdsmen.
Because of your donation, the children have food to eat and clothes to wear.
The following persons or church/organization have impacted the lives of our children :
The money and the food you brought is used to feed ten children and our support staff. Your generosity improves the lives of 21 people who live in safety.
Twelve-year old Esther, who joined us from Agatu, Benue State, lost both her parents in 2014 and was traumatized for years. She did not have access to safety, food or education, but has now found hope and love with us.
Esther is a happy and expressive child who loves Jesus and excels in scholastic endeavours.
Thank you for your generous contribution. We will send you updates over the next few months so that you know exactly what is happening with your donation and the impact that we have been able to create together.
In gratitude,

We received through your donations the amount of $2,500. We were able to relocate our children due to security challenges to a better city, Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. Funds were used to secure a 1-year lease, which also accommodates our teaching staff, cooks, and the youth supervisor.
This facility has a borehole water and electricity supply. We arranged with a local hospital for the medical care of the children. Children receive three meals a day. They have three teachers and a youth director.
OUR CHALLENGES: BEDS AND PILLOWS
The children sleep on the floor on shared mattresses. We need your support of $3,000 to buy bunk beds and pillows. $1,000 monthly for food, including protein-rich food, and $300 monthly for our staff salaries.
We appreciate your generous support
DCF Management
There is conflict in north-central Nigeria and more than 300 000 people fled the area to Benue State, Nigeria where they languish in refugee camps. Our goal was to make a difference in the lives of displaced children whose parents were killed. We provide the children with basic necessities, education, and counseling from caregivers, teachers, and counselors. There is a marked difference in their once tired-looking, unsmiling faces. Now they are smiling and lively because they have been given an opportunity to thrive and become part of a larger solution for their community. We want to ensure they have a future.
