MAKINDU CHILDREN'S CENTER FOOD AND NUTRITION REPORT

YOU CONTINUE TO HELP FEED HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN - THANK YOU!

Our Strategic Objective

The core objective of the Makindu Children's Center Food and Nutrition Program is to continuously enhance, track, and sustain the overall health and nutritional status of all children enrolled in the program.

Activities & Program Reach

During the reporting period, the program executed targeted nutritional support interventions across center-based dining, clinical supplementation, and community relief initiatives.

Center-Based Meals - 478 Children enjoyed provisions of balanced, nutrient-dense meals directly served at the center to ensure daily dietary needs are met.

Quarterly Vitamin Supplementation - 502 Children received essential micronutrient treatments and dietary supplements to safeguard growth and prevent deficiencies.

Bulk Food Household Relief - 495 Children's households received staple bulk food rations to ensure household food security and support children at home.

Health Outcomes & Impact Assessment

Through robust interventions and consistent tracking, the program achieved and/or maintained significant health metrics across the beneficiary population:

  • Malnutrition Eradication: 0% Malnutrition Rate — Zero children under the program's care suffer from malnutrition.

  • Health Status Maintenance: 100% Positive Health Status — All participating children maintained healthy physiological growth indicators throughout the term.

  • Family-Level Security: Bulk food distributions successfully stabilized home nutrition environments, shielding vulnerable children from hunger outside center hours.

Acknowledgments & Donor Gratitude

None of these life-changing outcomes would be possible without the generosity and compassion of our donors. Your support directly fuels our daily meal programs, vital health interventions, and household relief efforts. On behalf of the entire Makindu Children's Center team, the families we serve, and most importantly, the children whose futures are brighter and healthier today—thank you for making this vital work possible. Please continue your support!
