December normally have many holidays! Your support greatly contributed towards the special meals we made for the women and their children at the shelter. We started with Jamhuri Day, Jamhuri is the Swahili word for "republic" and the holiday officially marks the date when Kenya became a independent country on 12 December 1963. We also celebrated our Christmas in a style! the women and the children got an outing and visited Sofa Camp Naivasha, which is a camping/ picnic site suitable for picnics, camping, and team building, where they had time for games and bonding. Thank you very much for sharing your holiday abundance with us, it would not have been any better!
Thank you and wishing all of you a fruitful 2024!
