Dear Partners,

Happy New Year!

We are so grateful for your prayers and material support. KCSD has earmarked 17th years of service to hearing-impaired children education, advocacy, developing learning materials and Employ-ability skills’ Program, and as we aim to end ignorance and poverty by sharing inspiring voiceless from Kenya Christian School For The Deaf family.

Your generosity has enable us to forge ahead with farming of vegetables and apiary that supports our students and the community at large and generate income for sustainability.

We greatly appreciate your continued support to our work, and it’s through the generosity of individuals like you that we can carry out our everyday work. Please accept our sincere thanks.

Meanwhile due to continued drought in Kenya many families are skipping meals due to poverty as the brink of famine looms. Imagine a school without children, learning, and a child without love.

I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. We’d love to hear the story about why you’ve picked our project, and

we think your friends would too.

Thank you so much for your continued support to our cause.

Dear Supporters,

On behalf of Kenya Christian School For The Deaf, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support.. Your support helps us continue in our mission to assist vulnerable deaf children.

We know that there is not one single person that is not currently affected by Ukraine’s Russian war. We know that you understand our anxiety and worry about the future. We have 50000 an estimated deaf population in Homa-Bay and its environs

Besides the hardship experienced eerywhere, e have opted to start organic farmin which involves the cultivation of plants and rearing of animals in natural ways. This process involves the use of biological materials, avoiding synthetic substances to maintain soil fertility and ecological balance thereby minimizing pollution and wastage. This will enable us to feed the children under our care and to keep us going.

However, times like this are when we come together figuratively of course! And can make a real change. For the safety of our supporters, staff, and for deaf children we have had to close one of our centres prematurely and other outreach for the safety. Unfortunately, this will have a direct impact on our pupils which have been the victims.

We, therefore, appeal to friends like you to help us spread the word, and please consider telling your friends and families about our project by sharing the link to our GlobalGiving project on social media, or just bringing us up in conversation. We’d love to hear the narrative about why you’ve picked our project.

Kindest Regards

Dear Supporters,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support for the vulnerable deaf children in our center and those who are out of school.

However, in the pursuit of greatness, as we journey together with your generous support, we have continued to pursue the institution’s goals and objectives.

KCSD vocational training has benefited a lot through your kind support by training deaf youths on income generation and providing them with employability for long-term sustainability that will support them without necessarily depending on their families.

On the same note, your support has enabled us to start developing deaf learning materials for deaf learning institutions, the new initiative will help us generate income as we sell the device in exchange for money, and another accomplishment has been through a partnership with you.

Thank you once again, I know that sometimes saying thank you is not enough to express the joy and gratitude we feel towards you. I also would like to thank you on behalf of KCSD for the generous support you bestowed upon us and to remind you that because of your continued support.

The best kind of friends is those that enter your life and lift you up to see a blue sky where before there was a cloudy sky. They are the friends that have so much faith in you that you start having faith in yourself. These are the friends we should be grateful for, and we're really blessed to have friends like YOU!

KCSD family would like to take this opportunity to thank you once again for your partnership and for giving us a chance of becoming a larger part of the community (GlobalGiving).

I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project by sharing the link to our GlobalGiving project on social media, or just bring us up in conversation. We’d love to hear the story about why you’ve picked our project, and we think your friends would too.

Dear Partner & Friends,

We’re grateful for your prayers and financial support. KCSD has continued to support and work with hearing-impaired children through education sponsorship programs, advocacy, developing learning materials and vocational skills as we aim to end the year on a high note by sharing the inspiring voiceless from Kenya Christian School For The Deaf family.  We valued your donation that helps ensure that we can continue helping deaf children in our society.

However, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,  Kenya has continued to deteriorate economically, escalating poverty due to unemployment, situation, therefore, has pushed many vulnerable deaf children even deeper into extreme poverty. Many deaf people have reported having lost their informal daily earnings, and now face severe levels of food insecurity.

I’m sure that there are a lot of other ways you could have spent this money, but you believed in our cause, so you chose to invest it in our project. Because of this investment, I want you to continue being part of our team. We're in this together. I want our success to be your success.

I hope you find this partnership valuable and worthwhile. I know the economy is tough, so thank you for investing your hard-earned money in our cause. Please consider telling your friends and family about our project - share the link on your blogs or social networks, use the tell-a-friend feature on the project page to email your network, or just bring us up in conversation. You know your friends and family best, so use your own words - tell them why you chose our project and what it means to you. Here’s the link: http://goto.gg/46536 Be there for a deaf child today and make a different

Thank you again for all you have done to help this cause.

With gratitude,
