Across Southeast and South-South Nigeria, discrimination based on faith continues to shape everyday experiences. For many individuals like Ahmed, simple routines, going to work, accessing services, or interacting in public spaces are often overshadowed by bias, suspicion, and exclusion. This is the reality our project is working to change.

Since launching this initiative, we have begun laying the groundwork for impactful community-led change. Our team is actively engaging religious leaders, youth groups, and local stakeholders to design inclusive programs that promote interfaith dialogue, social cohesion, and peacebuilding. Early conversations reveal a strong willingness among communities to embrace tolerance, mutual respect, and understanding—but they need the right platforms and support.

What We’re Focusing On

• Interfaith Dialogue Sessions: Creating safe spaces where Christians, Muslims, and other faith groups can openly engage, build trust, and break harmful stereotypes.
• Community Education & Awareness: Launching campaigns to address misinformation, stigma, and religious discrimination through storytelling and local media.
• Protection & Legal Support: Developing systems to support victims of hate speech, profiling, and exclusion, ensuring their rights are protected.
