The placement programs focus on creating credibility in the day labour market has made excellent progress. Our members have increased the on site performance evaluations my customers to 4.8/5. This is a very good performance. Members understand that in the current environment in which work opportunities are very limited, It is critical to meet or exceed our customers expectations so as to ensure more work opportunities in future.
The reality however is that there is less demand for day workers overall and there are also more of them due to the substantial formal sector job losses suffered by South African blue collar workers.
