The Project Vision with it’s motto, “Let Everyone See” continues to strive to make the lives better of those who are Lost, Least and the Last in the society.
1. Formation of DPO (Disable Peoples Organisation): This year we have established/formed 4 DPOs. The 4thDPO was formed on 1st of December 2020 at Goddrahalli, Kortagare Taluk, Tumkur District.
2. Distribution of Assistive Devices: On 3rd December 2020 on eve of World Disability Day, The Project Vision in collaboration with Good Sam Foundation and PACT India distributed aids and appliances to 60 children affected with the various disabilities.
3. Mother’s Meal: We continue to reach out 100 families with the disabilities. This month too we provided the dry ration to the families.
4. Cataract Surgeries: So far The Project Vision could coordinate 6000+ Cataract Operations for free of Cost. Due to COVID19 Pandemic the cataract surgeries were not possible. From this month onwards we have resumed.
5. Reaching Out to Palliative Patients: The Project Vision in collaboration with DMCI (Disaster Management Collective India) Reach out to 1400 families of persons under terminal care provided Mother’s Meal Kits, most deserving families from every district of Kerala.
6. Workshop, Learning for CP and MR Children: The Project Vision conducts every week workshop and teaches the physical exercises for the CP (Cerebral Palsy) and MR (Mentally Retarded) Children.
7. General Health Camp: The Project Vision in collaboration with Kripa Trust conducted the Free General health camp for the 8 panchayaths of Gauribidanur Taluk on January 30th 2021. Around 450 people were benefitted with this camp.
8. Eye Screening Camp at Andrahalli: The Project Vision in collaboration with Sapthagiri Hospital and Pushpajanji SHG conducted the Eye Screening camp on 14th of February 2021. Around 600 hundred people got their eyes screened.
9. Awareness Program for School Children: The Project vision conducted 5 school awareness programs in the government school. The purpose of this activity was to create awareness on health and hygiene, Importance of Eye donation, Awareness on Disability, etc.
10. Blind Walk: On 20th of March 2021, Blind walk was conducted for the Students of St. Peter’s Pontifical Seminary, Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
11. Workshop on Rights of Persons with Disabilities: On 23rd of March 2021, The Project Vision conducted a workshop on the Rights of Persons with disabilities.
12. Training Program for Health Workers: On 24th March 2021, Project Vision conducts half day session for the Local health workers, staff and stakeholders at Bairenahalli PHC (Primary Health Centre), Kortagare Taluk.
