Thanks to Ba Futuru supporters, Timorese kids in Dili have new boards, helmets and pads for skating!
Girls and boys are super excited to get back into skating each week. We have older more experienced youth volunteering to help the younger ones get going and use safety equipment. Ba Futuru started the skatepark in 2007 and thus some of these kids have been skating since they could walk.
If more gear is to come, they could use some smaller helmets, shade sails and lights for skating at night, but most of all they would love for some skaters to come over to help them train.
