As we look toward next week, the anticipation is palpable. She is scheduled for a major, life-altering surgery to insert spinal rods—the final step in straightening her spine and securing her future.

Through the traction and the long days, this sweet child remains positive, smiling at everyone she meets. Beside her stands her mother, the silent warrior and the unshakeable rock of this duo, providing the comfort and strength only a parent can give.
