At Koinonia Education Centre, this term has been full of excitement, growth, and pride as our students continue to flourish academically and creatively.
Spotlight on Talent: The Annual Drama Festival
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming Annual Drama Festival, where all Koinonia students—from the youngest in pre-primary to our senior learners—will take the stage. This is more than just a performance; it is a celebration of expression, teamwork, and creativity. From scripted plays to dance and song, every child will have the opportunity to showcase their talent, building confidence and community spirit.
Making Waves: Grade 1’s First Swimming Experience
This year January marked a milestone for our Grade 1 students: their first swimming lesson! There were a few nervous tears at the start, but with patient coaching and encouragement, every child overcame their fears. Two months later, they can now jump confidently into the pool and swim—a powerful reminder of how quickly children grow when given the right support and opportunities.
Musical Achievements: Hard Work and Harmony
Our music program continues to inspire and empower. This term, our junior school boys and girls perticipated the competition at Kenya National Music Festival, both vocal and the instrument.. Their teamwork and musicality were impressive, and they represented Koinonia with pride.
Among them, E.M., a Grade 7 student, stood out by achieving 3rd place out of 28 participants in a solo category. He was awarded the third prize—an incredible accomplishment, especially considering this was his first time participating in such a competition. While only the top two contestants move on to the national level, we are extremely proud of E.M. for his dedication, courage, and exceptional performance.
Thank you for supporting Koinonia. Your generosity allows our students to explore their talents, face new challenges, and grow into confident individuals. With your continued partnership, we look forward to sharing more stories of impact in the months to come.
