Africa has one of the highest prevalences of heart disease in children - up to 75 children of every 1,000 live births in Kenya will be born with a congenital heart defect. With little access to specialized medical care, children are dying. Many of these children need just one surgery to save their lives, yet it is unavailable where they live.
HeartGift provides this life-saving heart surgery completely free to children with congenital heart defects in Kenya.
Through two medical mission trips in 2024, HeartGift will repair the hearts of 50 Kenyan children with congenital heart defects. We have already saved the lives of 16 children in Kenya this year. Every surgery is completely free to the children and their families and only possible through the generous support of donors and sponsors.
Thank you for your support of our life-saving mission! Your gifts save lives!
