Thanks to our generous community, the WFVZ Bird Museum received nearly $6000 through this GlobalGiving platform, and another $20,000 in direct contributions, along with an amazing $47,000 single donation, helping us achieve our fundrasing goal in 2025!  We sincerely appreciate ALL donations toward securing our Collections Assistant and Education Outreach positions in 2026.

In these troubled times, the fact that so many of you supported our work is deeply humbling. Our unique position in the world comes from our fundamental commitment to both Nature and Science, which are under assault. Our mission to share scientific understanding of birds with our community is what we are dedicated to, and what you have so wonderfully supported.

Because of this current fundraising effort we now will be able to offer more science lab programs for students in Ventura County schools; better curate our collection materials for researchers and the public to continue learning from them; and be open more days for tours and learning in our museum.

Thank you for supporting our cause in 2025, and we hope to see you at the Museum in 2026!
