Educate 32000 underserved children in India

As we advance through our 15th year of service, Teach For India’s mission to transform the educational landscape in India’s most underserved schools remains as robust as ever. We are thrilled to share with you how your generosity and support has fueled our mission and provided quality education to children all over India.

This year, our journey has been marked by remarkable growth and impactful achievements. Our Fellowship program continues to thrive, welcoming over 630 new Teaching Fellows into our community—surpassing our goal and setting a new benchmark for our organization. Among these new Fellows, we are particularly proud to welcome back 23 student alumni, now returning to make a difference as Fellows themselves. This has been inspiring for us to see the full-cyle of impact to see kids who were students sitting in the classrooms to them becoming teachers in the same communities they grew up in.

Our Fellows have been instrumental in driving educational outcomes across the board. Notably, reading comprehension levels saw a significant improvement, with 40% of students now reading at grade level—a notable increase from last year. In mathematics, over 80% of students passed their assessments, with a remarkable 45% securing scores above First Class.

Beyond academics, our commitment to holistic development has also borne fruit. More than 90% of our students now meet the minimum standards in leadership skills, gearing them to become the leaders of the future.

This year, nearly 400 Fellows graduated, joining our network of over 5,000 alumni. These dedicated individuals continue to work towards educational equity, with 98% of them remaining in the social and educational sectors—an achievement recognized globally in Teach For All’s latest report. Simultaneously, we continue to nurture a pipeline of over 2,000 future leaders through our other initiatives like TFIx, Firki, and Kids Education Revolution.

Looking ahead, we plan to expand into our 9th Fellowship site in Gurgaon by 2025, as we remain unwavering in our mission to foster 50,000 leaders by 2032. Having already empowered over 10,000 aspiring leaders, we are making strides toward a brighter, more equitable future for India’s children.
