Family Wellbeing Centre conducted an orientation session with Women Self-care Group on 6th July 2025 at Maha Rambawa village in Palugaswewa Divisional Secretariat area of Anuradhapura District, Sri Lanka. 9 members participated in who engaged with discussion for strengthening Self-care Group through effective actions by GlobalGiving funds to make a positive impact on their families.
Participants were proposed to initiate micro finance activities by collecting membership and monthly payments, which offer to provide micro loans among them for strengthening their household economic activities. They also suggested gathering members house each month once a time, and FWC also suggested to lead sharing of ideas in the society for improving their capacities through globalgiving fundraising programme.
We planned to provide a training of Society Development to the group members which offer to register at Divisional Secretariat office.
