A girl's future should never be decided by poverty, violence or a lack of opportunity. Through Girls Got This, FundLife creates safe spaces where girls in the Philippines can play, learn and build confidence. We combine regular sport with mentorship, education and community partnerships to help girls recognise risks, stay connected to school and pursue their ambitions. Girls in Eastern Visayas face poverty and repeated disasters that can disrupt schooling and increase their vulnerability to violence, exploitation and online abuse. Limited access to safe spaces and trusted support narrows their choices. Girls need supportive adults, practical knowledge and opportunities to participate, regardless of their family's income or where they grow up.
FundLife combines football and futsal with learning on rights, wellbeing and everyday risks. Mentorship builds digital literacy, online safety awareness and life skills, supported by teachers and community partners. From May to August 2026, 128 girls joined 36 Girls Community League games, and the programme delivered 23 mentorship sessions on digital literacy and online protection. Donations help sustain these opportunities.
Our goal is for girls to stay in education, make informed choices and access further learning and employment. Working with girls and their communities, we strengthen the relationships and opportunities that support these pathways.
