Every Child Deserves Opportunity

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

For a child displaced by conflict, education is more than a classroom experience. It is a chance to rebuild a life interrupted by circumstances beyond their control.

Imagine being a child who has already lost the comfort of home, the security of familiar surroundings, and the stability of everyday life. Then imagine being told that you may have to stop attending school because your parents can no longer afford the fees.

For many vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State, Nigeria, this is a painful reality.

But together, we are helping to change that story.

Thanks to the generosity of compassionate supporters like you, GoGreen Environmental Health Sustainability Initiatives has already provided tuition assistance to vulnerable displaced children attending RUDO Schools in New Karu, Nasarawa State.

Our support has gone beyond the classroom. We have also provided financial assistance to parents struggling to rebuild their lives after displacement, helping ease some of the economic pressures that make keeping children in school so difficult.

These interventions represent more than financial assistance. They represent restored opportunities, renewed confidence, and reassurance to struggling families that they have not been forgotten.

But our work is far from finished.

As another school term approaches, more children are waiting for the same opportunity.

Our team has identified additional vulnerable children who urgently need support with tuition fees, school uniforms, shoes, textbooks, school bags, and basic learning materials.

Unfortunately, the resources currently available cannot meet all these needs.

And when a family is struggling to provide food and shelter, even the cost of a school uniform or a pair of shoes can become an overwhelming obstacle.

No child should have to abandon their education simply because their family has been displaced by conflict.

Education provides more than knowledge. It offers stability, belonging, hope, and an important layer of protection against child labour, exploitation, early marriage, and other vulnerabilities associated with displacement.

Through our GlobalGiving project, Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, we are working to ensure that financial hardship does not determine which children can continue their education.

Today, we are asking you to help us reach another child.

Your donation can contribute toward tuition assistance, learning materials, uniforms, and other essential educational needs for children whose families cannot afford them.

You have already helped us make a difference. With your continued support, we can extend that opportunity to more children.

The difference between a child sitting in a classroom and a child staying at home should never be the inability to pay school fees.

Please consider making a donation today.

Help us keep another child in school. Help us protect another childhood. Help us give another young dream a chance to grow.

Thank you for believing, as we do, that every child deserves the chance to learn, no matter the circumstances of their birth or displacement.
