No Parent Should Have to Make This Choice

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

Food for the family—or school supplies?

Transportation—or a school uniform?

Today's urgent need—or a child's education tomorrow?

No parent should have to make choices like these.

Yet when families lose livelihoods and stability because of conflict and displacement, even basic household expenses can become overwhelming.

Education may remain deeply important to parents, but survival leaves little room for anything beyond the most immediate needs.

A mother or father can believe passionately in their child's education and still be unable to afford the resources needed to keep that child learning.

That is where donor support can make an enormous difference.

Through Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, GoGreen aims to help 500 vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State overcome barriers to education.

Your gift can help ease one part of the burden facing families already carrying so much.

It can mean that a parent does not have to choose between meeting an immediate household need and purchasing essential learning materials.

It can mean that a child does not have to interpret poverty as evidence that their education no longer matters.

And it can give families breathing room as they work to rebuild.

Your generosity cannot solve every challenge a displaced family faces.

But it can remove one painful barrier.

Today, stand with a parent who wants exactly what parents everywhere want:

A safe, hopeful, meaningful future for their child.

Donate and help keep education within reach.
