Don't Let One Lost Year Become a Lost Future

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

One missed day of school may seem small.

Then days become weeks.

Weeks become months.

And months can become an entire school year.

For children affected by conflict and displacement, educational interruption can happen quickly. Returning can be much harder.

A family loses its home or livelihood.

School expenses become unaffordable.

A child misses a term.

They fall behind their classmates.

Eventually, returning to school can feel increasingly out of reach.

This is how temporary disruption can become long-term exclusion.

GoGreen wants to intervene before that happens.

Through Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, we aim to support 500 vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State.

Our approach addresses practical educational barriers while integrating psychosocial support and child protection referrals where appropriate.

Because the cost of keeping a child connected to education today may be far smaller than the social and economic cost of allowing that child to remain excluded for years.

Every child who stays in school has more opportunities to build literacy, numeracy, confidence, life skills, and pathways toward future employment.

Every child we lose from education faces a much harder road.

We still have time to intervene.

Your donation can help turn an interrupted education into a continuing one.

A difficult year does not have to become a lost childhood.

And a missed school term should never be allowed to decide an entire future.

Please give today. Help us reach children before temporary displacement becomes permanent educational exclusion.
