Childhood Shouldn't Have to Wait

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

A child cannot put childhood on hold until a crisis is over.

They cannot pause growing up until their family becomes financially stable again.

They cannot recover every school year that passes while they wait for circumstances to improve.

Childhood keeps moving.

That is why helping children affected by conflict return to education cannot always wait until everything else has been resolved.

For families experiencing displacement, immediate survival understandably comes first. Food must be found. Shelter must be secured. Livelihoods must be rebuilt.

But while adults struggle with these enormous responsibilities, children continue growing.

And every prolonged interruption to education risks becoming increasingly difficult to overcome.

Through Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, GoGreen aims to help 500 vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State continue learning.

We want to remove practical barriers to education while also providing psychosocial support and connections to appropriate child protection services.

Your donation can help ensure that a difficult season in a child's life does not consume the years when they should be learning, developing, making friends, discovering their abilities, and building confidence.

There will never be another childhood for these children.

There will never be another opportunity to experience these exact years again.

That makes today important.

Please help us act while their dreams are still growing and their futures are still taking shape.

Childhood shouldn't have to wait for the crisis to end.

Donate today and help a vulnerable child keep learning while there is still time to make a difference.
