500 children.
Not 500 statistics.
Not 500 numbers on a project document.
500 lives. 500 dreams. 500 futures waiting for an opportunity.
Among them could be a child who dreams of becoming a teacher.
Another who wants to become a doctor.
Another who loves numbers and could one day become an engineer.
Another who may someday become a leader working to build peace in the same communities where conflict disrupted their childhood.
But before those dreams can grow, these children need something much more immediate:
A chance to learn.
GoGreen's Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn project aims to support 500 vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State.
We want to help them overcome the practical barriers preventing them from accessing education—from enrollment and basic school-related needs to uniforms and learning materials—while also providing psychosocial support and appropriate child protection referrals.
500 children may sound like a big goal.
But change does not have to happen for all 500 children at once.
It can begin with one.
One donor.
One gift.
One child returning to learning.
And then another.
And another.
Until hundreds of children have another opportunity to pursue their education.
500 children are waiting for a chance.
