Her Place Is in the Classroom Too

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

When hardship forces a family to make difficult choices, a girl's education can sometimes be among the first things sacrificed.

Conflict and displacement can make that vulnerability even greater.

A displaced girl who remains outside school may face not only educational exclusion but increased exposure to exploitation, harmful coping strategies, child labour, abuse, and other protection concerns.

But her story can be different.

She deserves the opportunity to learn.

She deserves to discover her talents.

She deserves the confidence that comes from developing her knowledge and abilities.

And she deserves the chance to determine her own future.

Through Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, GoGreen is working to remove barriers that prevent vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State from accessing education.

Our goal is not simply to distribute school materials.

Our goal is to protect possibility.

Because somewhere among the children we support may be a future teacher who will inspire hundreds of other girls.

A future health worker who will serve her community.

A future entrepreneur who will create opportunities for others.

A future leader whose journey began because someone believed her education was worth protecting.

That someone can be you.

Support this project today and help ensure that displacement does not push another vulnerable girl away from the classroom and her dreams.
