Ask a parent who has lost almost everything what they still hope to preserve, and very often the answer will be simple:
“I want a better future for my children.”
Displacement can take away a family's home, livelihood, belongings, and sense of security. But even in the middle of uncertainty, parents continue to carry dreams for their children.
They want them to learn.
They want them to succeed.
They want them to have opportunities they themselves may never have had.
Yet wanting an education for your child and being able to afford it are two very different things when your family is struggling to recover from conflict.
That is why GoGreen is asking you to stand alongside these families.
Our Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn project seeks to support 500 vulnerable and conflict-displaced children in Nasarawa State to access and remain in education.
By helping with essential school-related needs and providing additional psychosocial and protection support, we can relieve some of the burden facing displaced families.
Your donation can become something profoundly meaningful to a parent who feels powerless to provide what their child needs.
It can become reassurance that they are not rebuilding alone.
And for their child, it can become an opportunity to keep moving forward.
Please stand with a displaced family today.
Help a parent keep the dream of education alive for their child.
