Keep a Child in School. Keep a Child Safer

By JACKSON AMEH | Project Leader

For a vulnerable child, education is not only about passing examinations.

School can also be a place of protection.

When children affected by conflict remain outside school for prolonged periods, their vulnerability can increase. Economic hardship may push some toward child labour, while others may face exploitation, abuse, neglect, or other protection risks.

That is why restoring education after displacement matters so deeply.

A classroom provides more than lessons.

It provides structure.

It provides interaction with teachers and peers.

It creates opportunities for children to be noticed, supported, encouraged, and referred for additional assistance when necessary.

Through Every Child in Nigeria Deserves a Chance to Learn, GoGreen is bringing education and child protection together.

We aim to support 500 vulnerable children affected by conflict and displacement in Nasarawa State with school enrollment assistance, learning materials, uniforms and other educational necessities. Psychosocial support and appropriate child protection referrals will also form part of our intervention.

Every child we help return to learning represents an opportunity to reduce vulnerability and strengthen resilience.

When you help keep a vulnerable child in school, you are investing in both their education and their protection.

Your support can help create safer pathways from crisis to recovery.

Please donate today and stand with children whose education—and wellbeing—has been disrupted by circumstances beyond their control.
