Education Protects Children in More Ways Than We Often Realize
When a child is in school, they are learning.
But they are also safer. Children who are forced out of school because of conflict and poverty face greater risks of child labour, exploitation, early marriage, abuse, and lifelong poverty.
Every classroom becomes a place of protection. Thanks to your generosity, GoGreen has already helped displaced children in Nasarawa State remain in school by providing tuition support and encouraging their families through financial assistance.
These children are now spending their days learning instead of facing the dangers that often accompany prolonged displacement.
Yet many more children remain at risk. The next school term presents another opportunity to protect vulnerable boys and girls by ensuring they have the resources needed to continue their education.
School fees, uniforms, books, pencils, and backpacks may seem simple.
For a displaced child, they can mean the difference between hope and hardship.
Your continued support will help us reach more children before the new term begins.
Together, we are doing more than funding education.
We are protecting childhood itself.
