Supporting Parents Is One of the Best Ways to Keep Children in School
Education begins at home. When families face displacement, unemployment, and poverty, they find it incredibly difficult to keep their children in school. That is why GoGreen's support goes beyond paying school fees.
Alongside tuition assistance for displaced children attending RUDO Schools in New Karu, we also provided cash support to parents and caregivers. For many families, this small assistance helped cover transportation, meals, and other urgent household expenses, reducing the pressure to withdraw children from school.
One grateful mother shared that the support reminded her she was "not alone."
This is exactly why your generosity matters. When parents receive encouragement, children are far more likely to stay in school, continue learning, and build brighter futures.
As we prepare for the next school term, many more displaced families are asking for help. They want nothing more than to give their children an education—but they simply cannot do it alone.
Your support can provide school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and additional family assistance that will keep vulnerable children where they belong—in the classroom.
Together, we are not only investing in children.
We are strengthening entire families and helping communities recover from conflict with dignity and hope.
