PROGRESS REPORT OF THE PROJECT NAMED
“EVENING STUDY CENTERS FOR 400 TRIBAL CHILDREN”
(Report for the Period up to 29TH FEBRUARY 2020)
Services provided for the children in the centers:
- Organization of support services in the following areas:
In this year we started the evening class on 29-th February 2020.
The students are actively and regularly come to school and evening class regularly.
o To Help and guidance to Tribal Children in the hill areas.
o Health – organization of base-line health check-up and growth monitoring once in 3 months – so far, 1 health check-up have been organized
o Recreation & Facilities for skill acquisition – play materials provided in the centers, opportunities and encouragement of given to exhibit and develop the skills in singing a song, dancing, acting, drawing etc.
o We periodically stress the need of personal hygiene of the tribal hill students with special reference to girl students.
o The adverse impact of Health Awareness in Tobacco, TB, Dengue, and recently introduced Korana virus also explained to the tribal students and they are being asked to take baths, cleaning the body, and washing the hands before taking meals.
o Timings of the centers :
- 5.00 PM to 7.30 PM on all week days

Like the Previous month: - The impact of intervention by SPHEED-GLOBAL GIVING among the TRIBAL CHILDREN is the awareness on adverse effects of Health Awareness in Tobacco, TB, Dengue, and recently introduced Korana virus also explained to the tribal students and they are being asked to take baths, cleaning the body, and washing the hands before taking meals.
. Apart from this, the TRIBAL CHILDREN are motivated to provide Higher Education to the Tribal children to get better employment opportunities. The tribal students are interested in learning computer education process and many of them have started shining in their schools. The teachers of their schools are satisfied with our services. Through the provision of education will not yield immediate tangible results for fund raising activity the early signs show the success of the project.
Students think that, at the end of the day, they are at school so they can get ready to get good jobs opportunity in the future. This is how most of the people (including parents). So, take advantage of it, and try to relate their subject to how it can be applied in a employment environment. Tell them all about how doctors, engineers, IT developers, writers or dancers can use that information to become successful.
The teachers explained and create on Tree Plantation. Trees create an ecosystem to provide habitat and food for birds and other animals. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and potentially harmful gasses, such as sulfur dioxide, carbon monoxide, from the air and release oxygen. One large tree can supply a day's supply of oxygen for four people.
Mr. C. MATHESWARAN, Social Worker has also visited our Evening Classes and spoke about the Health Education. He spokes the following:
Tobacco: Awareness about the effects of tobacco consumption on oral health and the possibility of smoking behavior among the students.
Dengue: Creating Awareness on Dengue Fever i.e. All four dengue viruses are spread primarily through the bite of an infected Aedes species (Ae. aegypti and Ae. albopictus) mosquito. These mosquitoes also spread chikungunya and Zika viruses.
Tuberclosis:Tuberculosis (TB) remains as an important public health problem in India. Awareness about the disease, its diagnosis, and treatment among public will help in controlling the killer disease. This Awareness programme aims at arriving at an educational diagnosis about TB in an Hills Tribal poor community.
Korana Viruses Awareness: Common signs of infection of Korana include respiratory symptoms, fever, and cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even death.
Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
CONCLUSION:
Through our services to the Tribal Children, all of the Children are very happy and satisfied. Now, these tribal children are prepared to attend the final Examination. These children’s parents thanks to GlobalGiving and our SPHEED-NGO Staff.
