Estudio Damgo IV: The Dumaguete Information and Tourist Assistance Center was formally opened through a ceremony attended by local leaders and University key officers.
This specific project was aimed at improving the facade of the port, where tourists and sea-travelers pass by upon entering and leaving Dumaguete City.
More importantly, the center is a response to the need for putting up a unified tourist information and assistance center.
Since Dumaguete has become the gateway to various tourist destinations in the Visayas, tourists can now avail of the services of the center from helping tourists get modest, affordable and cozy accommodation, suggesting on the nearby spots to visit or what mode of transportation to use leading in order to reach a specific point of destination and up to the food delicacies offered in the said locality.
Locate at the entrance of the seaport, the Dumaguete Information and Tourist Assistance Center stands as a testament of the intergenerational culture of hospitality in the City of Gentle People and in the Province of Negros Oriental.
