Estudio Damgo V: A Filipino Design+Build Studio

We are please to inform you that Estudio Damgo 5 has begun its construction process. With the help of the City Engineer’s Office of Dumaguete City, this project has officially begun.

The following is a breakdown of the present progress of Estudio Damgo 5:

• Blue prints of the project was produced and sent to the City Engineering's office for permitting and approval. The blueprints have been approved and construction has begun.

• 300 pcs of bamboo were purchased and air-dried off site for use on-site to integrate in the green design of the structure.

• We also produced treatment barrels for the treatment of bamboo poles inside the university campus to ensure quality and safety of both our equipment and our people during this process. Treating the bamboo will ensure longevity of the material, keeping it away from degenerative insects and toxins.

• Fabricating of bamboo column supports off site has also begun in order to aide construction.

• Forming bamboo pegs for the initial part of construction are in progress.
