One of the most essential steps to accomplish towards constructing an edifice is to produce the blueprints and before the start of any activity, it is but required to secure permits from a specific government agency.
Those steps mentioned were simple yet very important before the start of any project implementation.
On the other hand, Estudio Damgo aims to promote sustainable materials for construction such as the Bamboo, which is grown in almost every place in the country.
Sustainability in this context would mean a material that could easily be replaced provided that the material will always be available within the immediate community.
In line with this, 300 pieces of bamboo were purchased and air-dried off site, in order to prepare for the construction of the comfort lounge that will again feature the Bamboo, an indigenous material.
Treatment barrels have been produced for the bamboo poles to be used for the structure. This is also an important preparation in order to preserve the material from infiltration of insects. When treated well, the bamboo’s usage can be lengthened to several years.
Added to the series of preparations, bamboo column supports and bamboo pegs were also fabricated.
