Having assisted many women who has been subjected to sexual assault and rape we have had an opportunity to observing the minefield of emotional and psychological torture they are subjected to for access to justice we felt it necessary to do something to assist. Thus, we settled on the establishment of a center where women can get the emotional assistance and support necessary to get through these horrible acts. The intention to establish a sexual assault center to fill the gaps and difficiencies in the public social services systems which causes revictimization of rape victims and life long emotional problems because of so may gaps and voids.
Our major purpose will be to provide victim advocacy and support services to sexual violence survivors. Focusing on supporting survivors and advocating for eradicating sexual violence, we also recognize the prevalence of the culture of victim blaming by both agencies mandated to provide support services to victims and by the citizen in general. We are working with experts to design and provide public education to assist in the elimination of this type of culture and to create more empathy for victims of sexual violence.
During the time we are raising the funds to establish the center we are working with experts to design the layout and services provided by the center, the area the facility should be located so it can be private but easily accessible to all, including our commuity outreach programs to minimize the culture of victim blaming and to bring awareness to the issues women face after they are sexually violated.
