Project Overview
Balochistan has a large population of stray, abandoned, injured, and neglected animals. Many animals in Quetta are exposed to hunger, disease, accidents, cruelty, and harsh environmental conditions, with very limited access to shelter or veterinary care.
To address this issue, BRDP has launched the “Establishment of Animal Sanctuary in Quetta” project on the GlobalGiving online fundraising platform.
The proposed sanctuary will provide a safe and caring environment for abandoned, injured, and vulnerable animals, along with basic food, shelter, veterinary care, and rehabilitation.
Fundraising Progress
BRDP has set a fundraising target of USD 273,430 to establish and develop the animal sanctuary.
So far, USD 2,127 has been raised through GlobalGiving. The funds raised are currently securely maintained in BRDP's bank account and have not yet been spent on project implementation.
BRDP will begin the establishment and implementation of the sanctuary once sufficient funds are raised to meet the project's financial requirements.

Once established, the sanctuary will provide a permanent and safe place for animals that have been abandoned, injured, or are otherwise unable to survive safely on the streets.
The project will also help promote a culture of kindness, compassion, and responsible care for animals in Quetta and wider Balochistan.
