Essential support for displaced Palestinians

Thanks to your support, we continue to provide stable housing and financial assistance to Palestinian families who have been displaced to the greater Cairo area. Our current goal is to expand our housing support program by adding 5 families every month through the end of the year. We also continue to provide monthly aid to families in the form of groceries, medication, diapers, formula, medical care, household necessities, and educational fees. Out of respect for their privacy, we do not take or share photos of the families.

Examples of support we’ve been able to provide over the past few months: 

• Household appliances for 3 families who were living in unfurnished apartments.
• School fees for 24 children.
• Full course of chemotherapy and radiation for 5 patients.
• Full course of physiotherapy for 3 patients.
• Visa fees for 2 university students who received scholarships to complete their education abroad.
• International flight for a university student to complete medical school abroad.
• Birthing costs and new baby necessities for 5 families.
• Extended hospitalization and treatment for a patient with kidney failure.
• Eid outing and field trip for 5 families with children.
• 1,200 meals for Ahfad Al Zaytoun, a local educational initiative for Palestinian children.
