Emergency support is important when families are in crisis, but sustainable change requires opportunities that help households produce for themselves.

Through Nurture 200 Children’s Lives, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is helping vulnerable families strengthen their own capacity through agriculture.

We provide farming education and, where resources allow, improved seeds and other agricultural support. Families are guided in establishing gardens, improving soil, selecting suitable crops, managing pests, harvesting effectively, and reducing losses.

The intention is to help households develop productive capacity that can continue beyond direct assistance.

Girls are included because we want them to gain skills that can become part of their future livelihoods. They learn that agriculture can provide food and can also become a pathway toward entrepreneurship.

Poultry farming provides another complementary opportunity. Families can learn how to care for birds, manage small flocks, and potentially generate income from eggs or birds.

Donors can help us make these opportunities available to more households.

Their support can provide seeds for planting, tools for cultivation, training for families, and mentorship for girls.

For this program , the impact of a stronger family can be profound.

A household that produces more food may experience less pressure.
