Farming can be a powerful tool for restoring dignity when families have the knowledge and resources needed to make it productive. At F SSIBU Mission Foundation, we are helping vulnerable households strengthen their farming capacity so they can produce food while working toward greater financial independence.

Our agricultural training focuses on practical methods that families can apply using locally available resources. We teach improved planting techniques, soil management, seed selection, garden maintenance, crop protection, harvesting, and basic post-harvest handling.

Where resources permit, we support families with improved seeds and other agricultural inputs. We also introduce poultry and other complementary livelihood activities to reduce dependence on one source of income.

Girls are an important part of this initiative. Through practical learning, they gain skills that can support their families today and provide livelihood opportunities in the future. We want girls to see agriculture as a field where knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship can create meaningful opportunities.

Donor support enables us to continue training families and providing the resources required to turn knowledge into action. It can help establish demonstration gardens, distribute seeds, support poultry projects, and provide follow-up mentorship.

A family that can produce food and generate income has greater power to protect its children from hunger and deprivation.

Our goal is therefore not merely to increase harvests. It is to strengthen dignity, resilience, and opportunity.
