For families facing poverty, one season of agricultural failure can have consequences that continue for months. Lost harvests can mean less food, reduced income, unpaid school needs, and greater pressure on caregivers.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is committed to providing continued agricultural support that helps vulnerable families recover and build greater resilience. Rather than treating farming assistance as a one-time intervention, we encourage ongoing learning, follow-up, and responsible use of agricultural inputs.
Seed distribution is combined with training so families can improve their chances of achieving productive harvests. We also promote poultry farming and household gardens as complementary livelihood activities that can diversify food and income sources.
Our girls are included in these efforts because they are part of the family’s future. They learn farming skills, participate in practical activities, and begin to understand how agricultural production can contribute to household stability.
Donors make it possible for us to continue this support when families have limited resources of their own. Contributions can help provide seeds, basic farming materials, poultry starter assistance, training, and follow-up visits.
The aim is to help families move beyond repeated emergency needs toward sustainable self-reliance.
When a family receives support to plant again, the impact can reach every child in that household. A successful harvest can provide food, generate income, and reduce financial pressure.
Your support can help a vulnerable family take another step forward—not simply by giving temporary relief, but by helping them rebuild productive capacity and hope.
