A girl should never have to choose between managing her period and attending school.
Yet for girls living in vulnerable households, menstrual poverty can make this choice painfully real. When menstrual supplies are unavailable, school attendance, confidence, concentration, and participation can all be affected.
The Keep Her in School initiative is helping change this experience by providing girls with menstrual pads and creating greater awareness around menstrual health.
For the girls we serve, the impact can be seen in simple but powerful moments: walking into school without fear, sitting through lessons, participating in activities, and continuing to learn when their periods come.
These moments matter because every missed day can affect a child’s learning journey.
Our work is also helping children prepare for their next educational milestone. More than 60 children are preparing for final examinations in early November, and F SSIBU is working to ensure that they receive the support and encouragement needed to complete this important stage.
We know that children cannot overcome every barrier alone. They need people who believe in them.
That is where our donors have made an extraordinary difference.
Every contribution helps us respond to real needs experienced by real children.
