For a girl living in a vulnerable community, having her period without access to menstrual pads can turn an ordinary school day into a painful and uncertain experience. She may worry about staining her clothes, being embarrassed in front of classmates, or missing lessons simply because she lacks what she needs to manage her period with dignity.
Through the Keep Her in School initiative, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is helping change this reality. By providing menstrual pads and menstrual health support, we are helping girls face their periods with greater confidence and continue participating in their education.
For the girls we serve, this support is not simply about receiving menstrual products. It means being able to sit in class, concentrate on lessons, participate with friends, and continue working toward the future they imagine for themselves.
The impact is especially meaningful as more than 60 children prepare to sit their final examinations in early November. These children have worked hard to reach this stage, and we are committed to helping them approach their examinations with the educational materials, encouragement, and essential support they need.
Every girl we equip is a reminder that small interventions can protect big dreams.
We thank the donors who have helped make this possible through GlobalGiving and other forms of support. Your generosity is reaching children directly and helping remove barriers that could otherwise interrupt their education.
There are still more girls waiting to be supported.
Together, we can make sure menstrual poverty does not decide who gets to stay in school and who gets left behind.
