Imagine being a schoolgirl who wants to learn, but every month you worry about whether you have the basic supplies needed to manage your period.
For girls at Mwanyagiri Community School, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to reduce that worry through menstrual pad distribution.
Our goal is simple: help girls attend school with greater dignity and confidence.
Menstrual poverty can create pressure for families already struggling with household expenses. When menstrual products are unaffordable, girls can face unnecessary barriers to participation in school.
Our intervention provides practical support while opening the door for wider conversations about menstrual health, hygiene, confidence, and girls’ wellbeing.
We want every girl to understand that menstruation is a normal part of growing up—not something that should make her feel ashamed or force her away from her education.
Donor support helps make this possible.
Every contribution helps us reach girls who need this support and strengthens our ability to continue addressing menstrual poverty within vulnerable communities.
A girl should be thinking about her lesson, her examination, her friends, and her dreams—not worrying about whether she has a menstrual pad.
That is the difference donor support can help make.
