Education is not only about books and examinations. Children also need encouragement, guidance, confidence, and someone to remind them that their circumstances do not have to define their future.
This month, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is preparing for the final mentorship sessions with children in the schools we serve. These sessions provide an important opportunity to encourage children as they approach the final stage of the school year and prepare for their next steps.
Through mentorship, children can receive guidance on personal development, responsible decision-making, education, relationships, resilience, and future aspirations. For children growing up in challenging environments, positive guidance can help them see possibilities beyond the difficulties they experience today.
The final sessions are especially meaningful because they allow us to reflect on the progress children have made throughout the year while encouraging them to remain committed to their education.
We are grateful to donors and partners whose support enables this broader approach to child development. Their contributions help us support children not only with physical necessities, but also with encouragement and knowledge that can remain with them long after a distribution activity ends.
As we enter this final mentorship phase, we welcome continued support to help us reach more children.
Together, we can nurture children who are better prepared to make positive decisions, overcome challenges, remain focused on education, and believe in their ability to create a different future.
