Menstruation should never be a reason for a girl to miss school, feel ashamed, or fall behind in her education. Yet girls living in vulnerable communities can experience serious challenges when they cannot consistently access appropriate menstrual hygiene materials, safe information, water, or supportive environments.
Through Keep Her in School, F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to address these barriers by providing menstrual materials alongside education and mentorship. Donor support can help girls access sanitary products and learn practical information about menstrual health, hygiene, dignity, and self-care. We also engage girls, parents, and communities in conversations that can reduce stigma and encourage more supportive communication at home.
The impact can be significant. A girl who feels prepared for her menstrual period is better positioned to attend lessons, participate in school activities, and maintain confidence among her peers. She does not have to experience menstruation as a monthly interruption to her education.
Our approach recognizes that providing materials alone is not enough. Girls also need understanding, accurate information, supportive adults, and safe spaces where they can ask questions without shame.
Your generosity can help transform menstrual health from a barrier into an opportunity for empowerment. By supporting Keep Her in School, donors are helping girls protect their education, strengthen their confidence, and continue pursuing dreams that poverty and stigma might otherwise interrupt.
