Completing vocational training does not always mean a young mother has the tools needed to begin practicing her new skill. Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers seeks to provide selected graduates with appropriate starter toolkits that can help them take the first steps toward applying their training.
Depending on the skill, support may include sewing materials, tailoring equipment, hairdressing tools, craft supplies, agricultural inputs, poultry-related materials, or other appropriate starter resources. Selection can be based on training completion, demonstrated interest, individual circumstances, and available opportunities.
Donor support can help purchase these essential tools and materials while enabling F SSIBU to provide follow-up mentorship on responsible use and basic enterprise management.
For a young mother with limited financial resources, obtaining a starter tool can be the difference between completing training and actually beginning to practice the skill. It can create a practical foundation for generating income and building experience.
Donors therefore help turn training into action. Their generosity can provide young mothers with tangible resources that support the next stage of their journey.
Through Restored Hope, F SSIBU seeks to help young mothers move from vulnerability toward practical independence while strengthening their ability to provide for themselves and their children.
