Keep her in school

Transitions between important stages of education can be difficult for children from vulnerable households. Moving from one class level, school section, or educational stage can bring new academic expectations, social pressures, and financial demands. F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to provide targeted transition support to girls who may be at greater risk of disengaging from school during these periods.

Through the Keep Her in School program, girls can receive orientation, encouragement, educational guidance, and practical support designed to help them adjust to new learning environments. The activity can include conversations about setting academic goals, managing school responsibilities, seeking help from teachers, and maintaining positive relationships with peers and caregivers.

Donor support can help fund educational materials, transition orientation sessions, transportation assistance where necessary, communication with caregivers, and follow-up visits for girls experiencing difficulties during the transition period.

This support is particularly important because a child can move forward academically yet still face circumstances that threaten her continued attendance. Early encouragement and practical assistance can help identify challenges before they become reasons for leaving school.
