Some girls struggle academically not because they lack potential, but because they have limited opportunities to receive additional encouragement and learn alongside supportive peers. F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to establish girls’ peer learning circles under the Keep Her in School program, creating small groups where girls can study together, discuss challenging subjects, share learning strategies, and encourage one another to remain committed to education.
These circles can help girls develop confidence in asking questions, participating in discussions, and seeking assistance when they do not understand classroom lessons. They can also promote teamwork, leadership, communication, and responsibility among participating girls. By encouraging children to support one another academically, the activity can strengthen positive attitudes toward learning and help reduce isolation among girls who may be struggling.
Donor support can provide learning materials, notebooks, educational resources, facilitation support, and simple study equipment required for regular sessions. Contributions can also help F SSIBU coordinate trained volunteers or educators to guide the circles and identify girls who may need additional academic support.
A donor’s contribution therefore becomes more than a material donation. It helps create a supportive learning network around vulnerable girls. When girls learn together, encourage one another, and receive consistent guidance, they gain additional opportunities to remain engaged with school and develop the confidence needed to pursue their education despite difficult circumstances.
