When a child experiences an injury, sudden illness, or health emergency at school or during a community activity, teachers and program staff are often among the first adults available to respond. F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to strengthen the ability of school personnel and community program staff to provide appropriate basic first aid while ensuring that children receive timely referrals for professional medical care when necessary.
Through first-aid training, staff can gain practical knowledge in responding to common childhood emergencies, managing minor injuries, recognizing warning signs, and taking appropriate immediate action. The initiative also seeks to promote preparedness by supporting schools and program sites with essential first-aid kits and refresher training.
Donor support can help provide qualified trainers, first-aid supplies, training materials, emergency kits, and follow-up refresher sessions. These investments can strengthen preparedness in environments where children spend much of their day and help staff respond with greater confidence and responsibility when emergencies occur.
Your contribution can help create safer learning and program environments where children are better protected and supported. By investing in first-aid preparedness, donors can help equip the adults caring for vulnerable children with practical skills that may make a meaningful difference during critical moments.
