Becoming a mother during adolescence can interrupt education, limit opportunities, and expose young women to stigma and economic vulnerability. But early motherhood does not have to end a young woman’s dreams.
Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is helping young mothers find pathways to rebuild their lives. Our support includes menstrual materials, mentorship, hygiene resources, health education, and encouragement to pursue education and skills development.
We provide mentorship spaces where teenage mothers can openly discuss the challenges they face. These conversations cover menstrual health, sexual and reproductive health, parenting, self-esteem, relationships, education, and opportunities for vocational training and livelihoods.
We also support hygiene through water cans and handwashing detergents in vulnerable communities. By addressing practical needs alongside mentorship, we seek to create a more comprehensive support system for young mothers.
Parents and guardians are also engaged because family support can make an important difference in a young mother’s ability to move forward. We encourage families to communicate respectfully, listen to teenage mothers, and avoid stigma that can push them further into isolation.
As the program expands, we hope to reach more teenage mothers who need someone to believe in their potential.
Your donation can help provide the practical resources, mentorship, and encouragement that give a young mother another opportunity to learn, grow, and build a future for herself and her child.
Restored hope begins when a young mother realizes that her story can continue beyond the challenges she has already experienced.
