For 20 girls whose schooling was disrupted by forced marriage, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to create a new pathway through vocational empowerment.
Our goal is to equip these girls with sewing machines and provide them with practical tailoring skills. The intention is to help them move toward productive livelihoods while restoring confidence after experiences that disrupted their education and personal development.
A sewing machine can become a productive asset. With training, a girl can learn to make garments, provide tailoring services, repair clothing, and explore small-business opportunities. With entrepreneurship mentorship, she can also learn how to manage customers, price products, save income, and gradually develop a sustainable livelihood.
Our work does not stop with the 20 girls. We also want to expand practical training opportunities for other vulnerable girls in areas including meal fabrication, hairdressing, craft weaving, poultry keeping, modern farming, and entrepreneurship.
Donors can help us move this vision forward. Contributions can support the purchase of sewing machines, training equipment, learning materials, instructors, mentorship, and other essential resources.
The ultimate goal is to help girls develop productive skills that can remain with them long after a particular training session ends.
Twenty sewing machines can represent twenty new opportunities—but with the right support, the impact can reach families and communities far beyond those 20 girls.
