When a girl leaves school because of forced marriage, the consequences can extend far beyond education. Without skills or economic opportunities, she may face increased dependence and limited choices about her future.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to change this reality by connecting vulnerable girls with practical vocational skills that can help them build livelihoods. Our goal includes equipping 20 girls with sewing machines and supporting them to learn tailoring as a pathway toward self-reliance.
The girls we serve are not defined by what happened to them. They are young people with abilities, creativity, and potential. With the right tools and training, they can make clothing, repair garments, serve customers, and develop small businesses that generate income.
Our wider skills program also introduces girls to opportunities such as meal fabrication, hairdressing, craft weaving, poultry keeping, entrepreneurship, and other practical activities suited to their local environments.
Donors have an important role in making these opportunities possible. Support can help provide equipment, training materials, instructors, mentorship, and startup resources.
Every machine donated, every skill taught, and every training opportunity provided can contribute to a girl becoming more economically independent.
Your support can help transform vulnerability into skills, skills into income, and income into greater choices for girls rebuilding their futures.
