Forced marriage can interrupt a girl’s education and place her future at risk. For 20 girls who have experienced school dropout because of forced marriage, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to create a pathway toward independence through practical skills and livelihood opportunities.
Through our empowerment efforts, these girls can be equipped with sewing machines and supported to develop tailoring skills that can become a foundation for income generation. A sewing machine is more than equipment—it can become a tool through which a young woman develops confidence, serves customers, earns an income, and contributes to her household.
Our goal is not simply to provide machines, but to accompany girls with practical training, mentorship, entrepreneurship guidance, and encouragement as they work toward rebuilding their lives. By helping them acquire marketable skills, we can reduce dependence and create opportunities for them to participate meaningfully in their communities.
Donor support can help make this transformation possible. Your contribution can help provide sewing machines, training materials, mentorship, and other resources needed to establish sustainable skills-development opportunities.
Together, we can help girls who were pushed out of school rediscover their potential, develop practical livelihoods, and move forward with dignity and hope.
